I occasionally make a point of commenting on gun issues, so I'm hard-pressed to ignore today's 5-4 Supreme Court ruling in favor of gun rights. Those who've been here before know my stance on firearms is highly libertarian, so I'll skip any commentary. But a few people have asked me what this ruling means. I good guide to that can be found here. The short of it, though, is that little will immediately, if ever, change. If the nation's current gun laws were frozen solidly in place, that would be perfectly fine with me.
